The Introductory line dance will include a Beginner or Improver dance on both Thursday and Saturday taught at 8:15pm. This class is designed for beginning social dancers to build a library of easier line dances to enjoy throughout the dance social. Each dance will be played later in the dance social, and will remain on the play list for about 2 months.
The Novice Line Dance Lesson begins at 8:00pm on Tuesdays building technique and pattern recognition for line dancing. Line dances will be selected from High Improver to Low Intermediate and will help students develop a stronger understanding of timing, footwork, dance structure, and kinesthesia (body awareness).
This lesson is then followed up by a line dance only dance social, where both Intro, Novice, and Intermediate Line Dancers will be able to show their stuff!
Saturdays at 7:00pm we hold an intermediate to advanced line dance instruction.
This lesson will focus on technique and control, stylization, musicality, dance genre, and showmanship in line dancing while teaching intermediate to advanced line dances.
After the lesson, we will play only line dances until the Introductory class begins at 8:15pm.
